So just who is Ted Alexander, and why is he heard on the 10000 Oldies Show? Ted is a broadcaster who has been in the industry for over 50 years, starting as a “gofer” before he was 13, for any radio station or remote broadcast he could get close to.
Ted has spent most of his radio career on stations in the Cleveland, Ohio area. He has worked continuously in radio and TV both as an on-air personality and as a chief engineer, most of that time doing both at the same time.
In addition, he has been doing national TV voiceovers since 1978. In 2010, Ted was inducted into the Ohio Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
He has amassed a huge collection of mint condition vinyl records, CD’s and tapes of all kinds and loves the music played on the Top 40 radio stations of the past 30 years.
